With limitations of the UK Prison service well documented, and the proximity of individuals who are detained being a key consideration, COVID 19 has presented a particular challenge to the operators of prisons around the county. Steps have needed to be taken to ensure the safety of both prisoners and staff which has resulted an additional temporary building to be constructed in order to improve social distancing and to enable effective isolation of those infected.

Each of these structures naturally requires amenities such as running water and electricity. Part of the increased supply of facilities has required a number of cold water boosting sets to be specified, designed and built on a particularly short lead time.

Stuart Turner received an enquiry for three sets on Friday the 24th April for which our staff worked quickly to turn quotes around. We had a conversation with the contractor on site to gain all the information required and returned quotes later that evening.

An order was placed early Monday in order to have the completed sets despatched on Wednesday, ready for delivery and installation on Thursday.

“I just wanted to pass on my thanks for the way in which you dealt with my enquiry and order last week.  Being in a difficult time, I just wanted to say thank you for the speed of quotation, order and delivery of the three booster sets and tanks you put together for me.  The service was some of the best I have seen in the industry lately, even taking calls out of hours.  Please pass my thanks to the team that managed to get everything out the door so quickly and efficiently!”
